DOUBLE GLAZING

What is double glazing ?

All buildings lose heat through their windows. Installing energy efficient double-glazing is an effective way of reducing your energy bills and keeping your home warmer and quieter.

Double-glazed windows use two sheets of glass with a gap between them which creates an insulating barrier which can deliver a higher level of energy efficiency. The space between the glass panes can be filled with a heavy inert gas such as Argon, Krypton or Xenon. This method is used to create a more effective insulating barrier which prevents inside heat to transfer through your windows

Double glazing units (DGU) allow much lesser heat & air to pass through the window compared to single glass. This quality of DGU makes them more energy efficient & sound reducing compared to single glass glazing

Although double glazing is a dearer option compared to single, we at VRB feel duty bound to inform our clients with the latest and best options in glazing industry. Having manufactured and installed double glazed products in European market for decades we would recommend DGU as an option for your private dwellings and high end projects.
